Scanners add empty pages whenever a sheet is single-sided. This tool checks every page for ink, marks the blank ones, and removes them. You see what it found before anything is deleted, and you can change its mind page by page.
How it works
- Drop in the scanned PDF.
- Review the marked pages; adjust the sensitivity for noisy scans.
- Click Remove blank pages and download.
Questions about remove blank pages
- It marked a page with a page number as blank. Is that a bug?
- No. A page with only a number or a faint mark counts as blank at the normal setting. Click the page to keep it, or choose Strict.
- What does the sensitivity setting change?
- How much ink a page can have and still count as blank. Loose is for scans with specks and shadows; Strict keeps anything with the slightest mark.
