Are my photos uploaded?

No. The AI model and removal tools download from JiffyKit, and your browser processes the image on your device. No account or API key is required. The first use downloads about 17 MB; later uses can reuse cached files.

Will every background be removed perfectly?

No. The lightweight model works best when a main subject stands out from the background. Fine hair, glass, shadows, similar colors and crowded scenes can produce imperfect edges or remove parts of the subject. Always review the preview. This tool does not include manual brush editing.

Which files and sizes are supported?

Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 25 MB. Inputs above 64 million pixels or 16,384 pixels on either side are rejected. Output keeps the original dimensions up to a maximum 4,096-pixel edge and 16 million pixels; larger images are reduced with a notice. The output format is PNG. Convert HEIC photos to JPG first.

Why does the first image take longer?

The browser downloads the removal model and starts it on your device. Speed depends on your connection and device. Progress shows the download and processing stages. Cancel stops the job, and stalled jobs time out so you can retry.
